Voice control

Voice control, voice recognition or voice command hot topic by the world. Mainly because of the escalation of the fight between the assistants of Google and Amazon. But do you understand that well? I Do not. When we talk about voice control we think soon of Siri or Ok Google, which many people do not know, but the breadth is much bigger and many find it to be a fundamental element for whoever dominates the future. Without much return in time it was from 2012 that this became "normal" due to the evolution of speech recognition (NLU), which until then was science fiction, and has since fallen to the taste of users and now evolves to intelligent systems (understand AI) that will communicate with people through voice, text, vision, touch and gestures. But back to the main subject. These voice assistants will be increasingly present in our daily lives as the IOT (internet of things) becomes a reality. For those who do not know IOT are devices, usually without a screen, that can ...

Value network

A value network is a business analysis perspective that describes social and technical resources within and between businesses. The nodes in a value network represent people (or roles). The nodes are connected by interactions that represent tangible and intangible deliverables. These deliverables take the form of knowledge or other intangibles and / or financial value. Value networks exhibit interdependence. They account for the overall worth of products and services. Companies have both internal and external value networks. [1] Wikipedia

The two different Social Sourcings

After reading the inspiring article below I decided to understand more about Social Sourcing and ended up learning more than I expected because the term identifies two different and equally interesting things. The first, related to the article, is related to entrepreneurship or social responsibility, in fact more specifically to the creation of social value or transformation of lives by companies through their purchasing power. The other concerns the recruitment process through social networks, used more for the identification of passive candidates, and that is gaining more and more importance. In fact they say that 92% of companies already use this technique and there are even softwares that help in the task like Oracle Taleo Social Sourcing Cloud Service. It is vital to be connected in one way or another. Why a donation of $250 from my first employee moved me to tears

Remarketing. Ever heard of this?

Did you already abandon an online shopping cart with Zeta brand T-Shirts and a few minutes later you was there seeing the recipe of cheesecake on the blog of Aunt Joan and shazam the devil boots an advertisement for such T-Shirt and with discount? Well, it was not the devil (or was it?) But the Alphabet (Google) and this is remarketing. "This is a native AdWords feature whereby when a visitor accesses your site, a" markup "is created for this client using a Cookie that will be saved to that user's computer. This cookie will be responsible for intensifying the display of ads when the user visits other sites or blogs that display Google ads. " Type one-to-one utopian marketing until recently ... Things that I regret.

I have no habit of looking back, just forward (Mom taught me). But a little look is always good, especially to learn from mistakes. Then move on. I regret not having learned more about technology before, sharpened my logic. I regret not having learned Mandarin. But mostly I regret having been so long timid. You see, timid is not synonymous of fearful in this case. I have always been brave but it was one of those who saw no advantage in exposing their ideas publicly. On the contrary, I believed that retaining my knowledge increased its value and there was no purpose in overcoming my shyness to share it. How silly. As I matured and came to see that the greatest value and return we can have in life and in business is to help others around us evolve, I realized that. Purpose! You have?

P2P do you know? You should.

Like B2B or B2C P2P is a business model made person to person where the platform (site, app, etc) just organizes things and the transaction is done directly between people. Torrent, car ride apps, discussion groups and person to person loans are good examples. Just like Linkedin itself, why not. At least 7 of the Unicorn companies today are actually P2P (my fault in my article on unicorns but I only understood the term well recently). I do not know about you but I do believe that P2P business should increase exponentially. Because? Because business is done (all of them) from person to person. Preferably with those people you know and trust, even between businesses - which by the way are frying brain to  impersonating it. Anb as e-commerce grows, we see vendors (the person on the edge) increasingly unprepared, but this is another matter. Back to what matters. We have to stop thinking only about B2C. In time almost 50% of unicorn companies are not B2C. In fact they are neither ma...
