Things that I regret.

I have no habit of looking back, just forward (Mom taught me). But a little look is always good, especially to learn from mistakes. Then move on. I regret not having learned more about technology before, sharpened my logic. I regret not having learned Mandarin. But mostly I regret having been so long timid. You see, timid is not synonymous of fearful in this case. I have always been brave but it was one of those who saw no advantage in exposing their ideas publicly. On the contrary, I believed that retaining my knowledge increased its value and there was no purpose in overcoming my shyness to share it. How silly. As I matured and came to see that the greatest value and return we can have in life and in business is to help others around us evolve, I realized that. Purpose! You have?

Unicorn companies, those new technology-based companies that are valued at more than a billion dollars, exert a general fascination. But although much commented little is really known about them and much confusion is made about it. But continuing. What do these companies do anyway? Ok, 16% are e-commerce companies or marketplaces but what about the rest? I discovered that 13% are fintechs and + 13% Internet Software ...

Turnover over time. What's on Google and Amazon?

Isn't that something?
