How many IPs will be used by humans?

Last Saturday my Mobile Solutions professor (I'm not going to say the name to not be cursed again) asked me something interesting: "Have you stopped to think that soon (if not already I would say) the largest users of the Internet will not be human ? " Yes, if your refrigerator has a chip, the lock other, the vacuum cleaner plus one and so on.
