Ths year I hope to see more people talking about what we did not do - and needs to be done urgently - than about what we did. Makes sense? I love technology. Eternal curious and inventive but my conclusion for the last year is that we do little. In fact very little use of everything that is around us to really improve people's lives. And for me technology exists for that! So what if we think at least in these days what every software, application or solution could do if its function was exclusively to help the next one? What persistent social problem could your product solve? I think it's super cool for AI to be used in museums but it would be cooler if it was used to help people get a job or reduce food waste. I find the maximum mobility applications but how many others could not exist to connect people in need of what others are willing to share, whatever the hell. There are infinite possibilities right before our eyes. You just have to want to see.
I just heard that and would complete what magic is what we can or can not do with it. Algorithms, programming languages, the entire back end can seem very complicated. Even the front end, though more understandable. But what we do with them is what counts. What user will we have, what output, what experience. It's hard work to develop all this, but let's face it, all this has a single future, to become a commodity. So your application will be your differential. This is because I defend the fourth sector as barn of these innovations. A truly win-win environment free from politics, conflict, resistance. The sky is the limit! Besides to do good and help the people who need it the most. Does not sound like a good plan?
